ここ数日、講義ネタばかりで恐縮ですが、今日も続けます。

講義の途中で、

The following examples may conflict with political correctness and gender issues, but please let them skip the contents for today.
と、言い訳して、講義を続けました。
講義の最中に、『・・・性別に関係なく、浮気をする人はいますが、ここでは、異性カップルにおける、男性の浮気を例にしてお話をします』などの言葉を挟んでいました。
During the lecture, I put a phrase such as, "...people cheat on each other regardless of gender, but here I will use male cheating in heterosexual couples as an example".
たった数年前は、このような配慮はしていなかったように思います。

この資料は、数年前に使った資料を再利用しただけのものですが、最近、「ポリコレ」や「ジェンダー」の問題に、気を使うようになっています。
This material is just a re-purposed version of material I used a few years ago, but I have recently become more attentive to "political correctness" and "gender" issues.
もちろん、それはそれで正しいこと思いますが、ちょっと疲れるなぁ、と感じることもあります。
