最近、私は本を購入しなくなりました。そして、明らかに読書力も落ちているように思います。
Recently, I have stopped buying books. And it seems clear to me that my reading ability has also declined.
理由を辿れば、本を買って必死で調べなくても、生成AI(ChatGPT)がだいたいの答えを出してくれるからです。
If I trace back the reason, it is because, even without desperately researching by buying books, generative AI (ChatGPT) provides me with most of the answers.
ただし、ChatGPTの答えは日常生活の範囲なら大きな問題になりませんが、システムエンジニアリングの設計や開発、あるいはアカデミックの発表においては「大問題」になることが多々あります。安易に使うのは危険です。
However, while ChatGPT’s answers cause little problem in daily life, they often become a “serious problem” in system engineering design and development, or in academic presentations. Using it carelessly is dangerous.
論文に関して言えば、一次文献調査なしでAIの答えをそのまま使うのは、とても怖くてできません。
As for academic papers, I find it terrifying to use AI-generated answers without conducting primary literature research.
システムエンジニアリングの現場はそれに比べれば気楽です。動けば「正解」、動かなければ「誤答」が一発で分かるからです。
In comparison, the field of system engineering feels more relaxed. If something works, it is “correct,” and if it doesn’t, it is “wrong”—and that is instantly clear.
危険はあるのですが、ざっくりした初期知識や入口を得てから本格的な調査や開発に入れるという点で、生成AIは強力な武器であることは間違いありません。
There are risks, but as a tool for gaining rough initial knowledge or an entry point before starting serious research or development, generative AI is undoubtedly a powerful weapon.
だから、改めて申し上げます。
Therefore, let me reiterate this.
―― まだ生成AIを使っていない人は、そのまま使わないままでいて下さい
―― Those who have not yet used generative AI, please remain as you are and do not use it.
生成AIでラクをするのは、私(と現時点での既得権益者)だけで十分です。

正直に言えば、私「地動説」そのものはどうでもよいのです。
To be honest, I do not really care about “heliocentrism” itself.
大切なのは、新しいアイデアを案出し、それを発展させていくときに、権力（政治家や企業幹部）に潰されずに継続できるかどうかという、そのメソッドにあります。
What matters is the method—whether one can continue developing new ideas without being stifled by authority (whether from politicians or corporate executives).
「地動説論者」 vs. 「カソリック教会」には、ガリレオのように潰された例もあれば、ケプラーのように逃げ切った例もあります。
In the case of “heliocentrists” vs. the “Catholic Church,” there are examples such as Galileo, who was crushed, and Kepler, who managed to escape.
「正しさ」そのものは二の次です。問題は「それ」を持ったまま、どうやって危機を逃げ切るかです。
“Correctness” itself is secondary. The real issue is how to survive the crisis while holding on to “it.”
これは、サラリーマンの「歴史が教える、私たちの生存戦略」と言えるでしょう。
This can be called the “survival strategy that history teaches us” for office workers.

正論で戦うのは立派ですが、正論は大抵の場合、有効ではなく、自分にとって有害であることが多いです。
Fighting with correctness is admirable, but in most cases, correctness is not effective, and more often, harmful to oneself.
それ故、ケプラー戦略こそが、真の「生存戦略」なのです。
Therefore, the Kepler strategy is the true “survival strategy.”
