「銅像」というのは、基本的に偉人の功績を称えるものですが、私には、

というイメージが固定化しています。

銅像が立てられたというイメージより、壊されていくプロセスの映像の方が、圧倒的に多いからです。

私の個人的な見解ですが、「英雄は『忘れ去られる』のが一番」です。
In my personal view, the best fate for a hero is to be forgotten.
