私は政治に関しては素人です ―― というつもりはありません。

社内における力関係を計って仕事をすることは「政治」ですし、町内会のもの分かりの悪いジジイを諫めるのも「政治」です。
Measuring power relations within a company to get work done is “politics,” and so is admonishing a stubborn old man in a neighborhood association.
極端なことを言えば、「いじめ」ですら、集団力学における政治と言っても過言ではないと思っているくらいです。
To take it to an extreme, I even think it is not an exaggeration to call bullying itself a form of politics within group dynamics.
もちろん、「政治」は「正義」ではなく、大抵の場合、無茶なロジックを通すという点においては、「悪」とか「インモラル」に近い観念として具体化します。
Of course, “politics” is not “justice,” and in most cases it takes concrete form as something closer to “evil” or “immoral,” in that it forces unreasonable logic through.
当然ですが、「政治家」というのは、その政治のプロフェッショナルですので、無茶なロジックを通すことにかけては、実に上手いのです。
Naturally, “politicians” are professionals of politics, so they are extremely skilled at forcing unreasonable logic through.

高市総理大臣の発言に対して、中国政府が激怒（か、あるいは激怒に見せる演出、または、それに付随する政策による攻撃）をしているという話をしました。
I talked about how, in response to remarks by Prime Minister Takaichi, the Chinese government has become enraged (or staged a display of rage, or launched policy attacks in support of that stance).

(And earlier, I also said that I could not judge the right or wrong of our country’s prime minister on this matter.)

いわゆる、現在「スタック」または「デッドロック」している状態です。
In other words, the situation is currently “stuck,” or in a “deadlock.”
ちなみに、私たちのようなプログラマにとっては、プログラムにおける「デッドロック」というのは日常的に発生し、かつ、それを解決する方法が恐ろしく難しいものです。
For programmers like us, a “deadlock” in a program is something that occurs on a daily basis, and the methods for resolving it are terrifyingly difficult.
政治の世界における「デッドロック」は、それとは比較にならないほど難しいでしょう。
A “deadlock” in the world of politics is likely incomparably more difficult than that.

I couldn’t help but shout that out.

これは、デッドロックを解除するに至らなくても、デッドロックを「緩める」という効果としては、抜群です。
Even if it does not go so far as to解除 the deadlock, it is outstanding in its effect of “loosening” the deadlock.
デッドロックが緩まれば、あとは時間解決モードに持ち込める可能性もあります。
Once the deadlock is loosened, there is also the possibility of shifting into a time-based resolution mode.

I found myself wondering that.
まず、米国政府ではないと思う。あそこはデッドロックを、軍事力と関税で強制解除する手段(ハードアプローチ)を持っているからです。
First of all, I don’t think it was the U.S. government, because they have the means to forcibly break a deadlock through military force and tariffs (a hard approach).
と考えると、中国政府の可能性もあるけど、一番可能性が高いのは日本政府ではないか ? と、私は思っているんですけどね。
Thinking that way, the Chinese government is also a possibility, but I personally think the most likely candidate is the Japanese government.
あるいは、この3つの国が同時にこの絵図を描いた、という可能性もある、とも思っています。
Or perhaps all three countries drew this picture simultaneously—that is another possibility I consider.
政治家ではなくて、政府官僚が上手くコントロールした、という可能性も高いと思います。
I also think there is a strong possibility that it was skillfully controlled not by politicians, but by government bureaucrats.

まあ、ここまで偉そうに「図面を描いたのは誰か」などと論じておいた挙句、明日、このニュースがフェイクだったと分かれば、私は恥をかくのだろうけど、それもまた政治というものだと思っています。

だって政治の世界では、「事実」より先に「もっともらしい話」が走り、その後から慌てて現実が追いかけて来る、ということが日常茶飯事ですから。
After all, in the world of politics, it is commonplace for “plausible stories” to run ahead of the “facts,” with reality scrambling to catch up afterward.
フェイクかどうかは、明日以降の新聞かテレビで分かるでしょう。
