Amazonが翌日に備品を配送してくれるのは、本当にありがたいことです。
It is truly appreciated that Amazon delivers supplies the next day.
もっとも、このAmazonが翌日配送(の契約)が、弱い立場の、個人経営の運送配送業者を苦しめている、という事実も知っています(「ガイアの夜明け」で何度も特集が組まれている)。
However, I am also aware that Amazon's next-day delivery contracts place significant strain on small, individually operated delivery businesses (a topic repeatedly featured on "Gaia no Yoake").
Amazonの言い方は簡単です ―― 『この契約がイヤなら、契約打ち切って、別のところ(会社)の配送をやって頂いて構いません』。
Amazon's stance is simple. "If you do not like this contract, you are free to terminate it and deliver it to another company."
これが、古今東西、どの世界でも使われてきた、業務の独占または寡占による『市場支配力の濫用と優越的地位の強制行使』という弊害です。
This reflects the harm seen throughout history and across industries: the abuse of market dominance and the coercive exercise of superior bargaining position arising from monopoly or oligopoly.
取引先に形式的な「選択の自由」があるかのように見せながら、実質的には経済的依存関係を盾に交渉力を封殺する構造的搾取を成立させる――それが寡占インフラの本質です。
By presenting a facade of formal "freedom of choice" to business partners while effectively suppressing their bargaining power through economic dependency, structural exploitation is established. This is the essence of oligopolistic infrastructure.

Not only the delivery speed, but also the lenient return policy eliminates what is often a serious concern with many vendors: "Will they accept a return if I purchase this?"
正直、江端家では、Amazon以外の買い物は、なかなか怖くて手が出せない状況です(実際、現在、バルクT-COMの返却ですったもんだしているところです)。
Frankly, in the Ebata household, purchasing from vendors other than Amazon feels risky and difficult (in fact, we are currently struggling with returning a bulk T-COM item).

翌日配送、確かにありがたいですので ―― こんなことを言うと、配送業者さんに首を締められるかもしれませんが、翌日に来るというプレッシャーで、正直、気が滅入ることもあります。
Next-day Delivery is certainly appreciated. Though saying this might invite backlash from delivery workers? But the pressure of it arriving the next day can honestly be emotionally draining.
物品着荷は、インストール開始の時点です ―― 設営が遅れる理由は間違いなく私自身であり、言い訳ができません。
The arrival of the item marks the start of installation? And if setup is delayed, the reason is unquestionably myself, leaving me with no excuse.
で、提案なのですが、Amazonの配送メニューに、

に加えて、

□ 翌日配送がいいんだけど、それほど無理のない範囲で、ちょっとくらいの遅延はいいよ 配送

というメニューがあってもいいなぁ、と思うのです。
I sometimes think it would be nice if such an option existed.
こういう、相互に損をすることで、配送業界の苦しい状況を1%でも減らせれば、と思うことはあるですよ。
By mutually accepting a small inconvenience, perhaps we could reduce the hardships faced by the delivery industry even by 1%, I sometimes think.
ただ、こういうメニューを作ると、法的紛争が乱発するのは、私の目から見ても明らかであり、到底、現実的な話ではない ―― ということくらいは分かっているんですけどね。
However, even from my perspective, it is obvious that creating such an option would trigger a flood of legal disputes, and I understand that it is far from realistic.
