トランスジェンダーの人が戸籍上の性別を変える際、生殖能力をなくす手術などを求める法律の要件が、憲法に違反するかどうかが争われた家事審判の特別抗告審の決定で、最高裁は25日、生殖機能をなくす手術を求める要件は「憲法違反」と判断しました。

私、以前、性同一障害の人数を推定する手段として「性別変更申請数」のみを使って逆計算を行っていました。
I previously used only the "number of gender reassignment applications" as a means of estimating the number of gender dysphoria and did a backward calculation.
この推測方法では、「手術」の実施確率をベイズネットのノード要素としていました。

今回の判決を受け、今後、国会で法律改正が行われるので(行われますよね？)、この推測方法は使えなくなりますが、それでいいのです。

今回の確定判決によって、こんな推測自体が、全く無駄となる時代が来ればいいのですが ―― 多分、まだまだ時間はかかるでしょう。

国家(というか政府)が、いつまでも、反社(反社会的勢力)と同じことをやっていては、ダメですよね。

もちろん、これから、乗り越えていくべき様々な問題はあると思いますが、ともあれ『指詰め』と同レベルのことは差し止めて、それから、皆で考えて行くべきでしょう。
