18556004350 は詐欺電話です。
「NTTドコモの料金が未納で、停止する。今すぐ“#9”を押せ」というメッセージが、留守番電話に残っていました。
A message saying, "Your NTT DoCoMo payment is overdue and service will be suspended. Press '#9' now," was left on my voicemail.
着信には気づいていたのですが、我が家（というか私）は、基本的に電話に出ません。
I noticed the call, but in our household (or instead, I), we don't answer the phone.
「録音内容を聞いてから、必要であればコールバックする」というのが我が家（というか私）の基本方針です。
Our household policy (or rather, my policy) is to listen to voicemails and call back only if necessary.

まず、これが詐欺電話であることは、以下の3点から明らかです。
First of all, this was a scam call for the following three reasons.
(1)（こともあろうに）メッセージの中に、「私の名前」が一度も出てこない。
(1) Unbelievably, the message never once mentioned my name.
(2)（こともあろうに）発信者の社名や自身の名前が一切名乗られていない。
(2) Even more absurdly, the caller never stated their company name or their own identity.
(3)留守電であると分かっているのに、(こともあろうに)折り返し先の電話番号を残していない。
(3) Knowing it was voicemail, they still failed to leave a callback number—unbelievable.
そもそも、(1)の「江端様の……」というフレーズがない時点で、論外です。
Frankly, the lack of the phrase "Mr. Ebata..." in point (1) disqualifies the whole thing outright.
この国に、そんなぞんざいな留守電を残す企業など存在しません（多分）。
There probably isn't a single company in this country that would leave such a sloppy voicemail. (Probably.)
もしも新人がこんな電話を残そうものなら、その場で先輩にぶん殴られて（ここまでが従来）、翌日には退職代行サービスから「本日付で退職しました」という連絡がくるでしょう（ここからが最近のトレンド）。
If a rookie employee ever left such a message, they would be reprimanded by a senior on the spot (the old way), and by the next day, the company would receive a call from a resignation agency stating, “I’ve quit, effective today” (the modern way).
ちなみに我が家は、複数の通信キャリアと契約しているので、サービス名を言ってもらわないと何が止まるのか分かりません。
By the way, since our household is subscribed to multiple carriers, we have no idea what's being suspended unless the service name is clearly stated.
実際のところ、キャリアがサービスを止めると言うなら、それはそれで家計が助かるので、むしろ歓迎です。
Honestly, if a carrier decides to cut our service, it would help our household budget, so we’d probably welcome it.
先日、車検の書類に自宅の電話番号を書く場面がありました。
The other day, I had to write our home phone number on some car inspection paperwork.

と、担当者さんに申し上げました。
That’s what I told the staff member in charge.
というわけで、我が家では、「メッセージを残していない電話は、なかったことと見なす」という運用方針でやっております。
In our household, any call without a voicemail is considered as if it never happened.

「この世の中、留守電に残さない声は“なかったこと”になる」というのは、今や主流です。そして、これからは、これが常識になります(確信があります)。
In today's world, a voice not left on voicemail is treated as if it never existed—that's already the mainstream view. And soon, this will be common sense. (I’m convinced.)

それにしても、今回の詐欺電話の稚拙さには腹が立ちます。
Still, I’m honestly annoyed by how amateurish this scam call was.
『詐欺をやるなら本気でやれ。“江端様”を出せるくらいの事前調査はやれ』と思います。
If you're going to run a scam, at least do it properly. Do some basic research, like using my name, “Mr. Ebata.”
