総じて、米国では政治献金が選挙活動の一環として広く受け入れられている一方で、日本では過去のスキャンダルの影響もあり、政治献金が不透明であると批判されている、ということです。

一言で言えば、「クリーン」の意味が違う。

米国のクリーンは「全情報開示」の意味で、日本のクリーンは「清く貧しく美しく」です。

政治に関わる金であれば、献金する側は「身バレ(名前がバレること)を覚悟しろ」ということです。
