姉:「(市役所に)何かした？(しかけた？)」

今回、父の介護認定手続の為に、実家に帰省していました。

Last week, I was in my country home to apply for my father's nursing care insurance.

介護のランクを決める為に、市役所の人が直接やってきて父に質問等をするので、そのサポートをする為です。

To set the nursing level, a municipal officer visited my father's house and interviewed him, so I was supposed to help my father.

この様子については、いつかお話しようと思っています。

姉の娘に、今回の申請書類の提出の為、市役所に行って貰ったそうです。

My sister's daughter went to the municipal office to submit the document for the nursing care insurance.

親戚から様々なアシストとして貰えて、大変助かっています。

I am happy that my relations helped me with several issues.

姉が、その時の手続の様子を伝えてくれました。

My sister told me about the time when the daughter submitted the documents.

姉:「『係の人が、申請者指名に『江端智一』という記載を見つけたら、即座に市役所の係が手続を始めた』と言っていたよ」

Sis: "She said that "the person in the office started the process as soon as she found the name "Tomoichi Ebata" in the document."

江端:「ふーん」

Ebata:" I see."

姉:「(市役所に)何かした？(しかけた？)」

Sis: "Did you do something to the office?"

江端:「全く覚えはないんだけど・・・」

Ebata:" I don't know at all."

私は、市役所の人に対して、脅迫したり、恫喝したり、賄賂をおくったり、その他、ありとあらゆる不正を、一切行ったことはありません。

I didn't take any action regarding threats, intimidation, bribes, and other unfair actions against the municipal office.

役所の人と、敵対関係になったことは、ないと思います。

In addition, I don't remember getting adversarial with the officer.

むしろ、手続を円滑に進める為に、書物やネットで徹底的に下調べをして、必要なら法律の条文まで読み込んでから、役所の窓口に出かけているくらいです。

Before going to the office, I studied the process very hard through books and the net, and I read letters of the law if necessary to go through the procedure.

自分では、これ以上もないくらい、親切で、友好的対応をしていると思っているのですが。

I believe that I am kind and give a friendly response to the office at an extreme level.
