―― 10連休で人生を変える。AIエンジニアになろう。

"Change your life for 10 consecutive holidays. It will make you an AI engineer"

という広告を見ました。

I saw the ad.

私、「"AI"と言い換えられている技術」について2年間連載してきました。

I have been serializing "technology that is reworded as" AI "for two years.

しかし、そんな私でも、「AIエンジニア」という職種が何のことか分かりませんし、そもそも、そんな職種が存在するのか疑義があります。

However, even I, do not know what kind of job "AI engineer", and above all, I doubt whether such a job type exists.

少なくとも、AIの技術を具現化する為には、

At least to embody AI technology, you have already got the following all technologies.

■数式をプログラムにスペックダウンして、コーディングして、デバッグして、評価して、

- ability to speculate down formulas into programs, code, debug and evaluate

■データベースのスキーマ設計、構築、SQL文の作成して、

- ability for database schema design, construction, create SQL statement

■メモリ空間の使用イメージ、組合せ爆発の規模感の把握して、

- ability to grasp used memory space, and sense of scale of combination explosion

■学習プロセスを可視化するビューアを、ちょいちょいと作ってしまえるセンス

- sense of creating a viewer that visualizes the learning process

の全ての技能が必要だと思っております。

私の場合には、上記のそれぞれのプロセスの取得に「3年間」は必要だったと思います。

In my case, I think that "three years" was necessary to obtain each of the above processes.

「10日間」では無理だったと、断言できます。

It can be asserted that it was impossible in "10 days".

そもそも、プログラミングでなくても、エクセルで、分散、標準偏差、回帰分析ができないような人間が、"AI"という言葉を使うのは、正直「失笑」で「噴飯」ものだと思っています。

Even if it is not programming, but spreadsheet like Excel, honestly, I think that it is a "laughing" and a "jumping" thing that people say the word "AI" without performing variance, standard deviation, regression analysis.

日記をレビューしていたら、こんなの("その2"の方)がありまして、同じことを書いてもなぁ、と思っています。

I found this(part 2) when I reviewed my diary, and I don't think I have to write the same again.

ですので、今日は、もう一つの問題提起をしてみたいと思います。

So, I would like to pick up one more question today.

今回のコラムには書かなかったのですが、町内会には、"IT"以外にも問題があります。

Although I did not write in this column, there are problems other than "IT" in the neighborhood association.

日本語に不自由な外国人の居住者 ―― つまり"言語"の問題です。

Residents of foreigners who can not speak Japanese --- It is the problem of "language".

これから外国人労働者を積極的に受け入れていく我が国にとって、町内会もまた、日本語がネイティブでない人を、受け入れていかなければならなくなることは、自明です。

For Japan, which will actively accept foreign workers, it is self-evident that the neighborhood association will also have to get2019 people whose language is not native.

(Continuation from yesterday)

今日、やっと、「動かないシステム」の原因を見つけることができました。

Today, I finally found the cause of the "inactive system."

PCにプレインストールされていた、セキュリティ対策ソフト(Macfee)でした。

It was security software (Macfee) that was pre-installed on the PC.

このソフトを、復旧不能レベルへのアンインストールを行ったら、システムを止めていた問題点(3つ)が一気に解決しました。

Uninstalling this software to an unrecoverable level resolved these three problems simultaneously, and the system started.

私が、なんどWindowsOSの設定を変えても、動かなかったのは、このソフトが全部、妨害をしていた、という訳です。

The system did not work, even if I changed the setting of Windows OS, because this software was blocking the system.

それにしても、pingやhttpのパケットを妨害するのは許せるとしても、パソコンの中の、processまで妨害するとは、何たる悪質なソフトウェア ――

Even so, although it is acceptable to block ping and HTTP packets, how does this malicious software interfere with the process on the personal computer?

ほんの一瞬ではありますが、この会社への「放火」を考えました。

Though it was only a moment, I thought of "an arson" to this company.

もっとも、セキュリティ対策ソフトは、「悪意」でソフトウェア作る者からPCを防衛することを目的として作られているものです。

However, security software is designed to protect PCs from "malicious" software developers.

PCは、「利用者」が大半で、「開発者」はその0.2%(30万人/1億3000万人)にも至りません。

The majority of PCs are "users," and on the other hand, "developers" do not reach 0.2% (300,000 / 130 million) of them.

ですから、このソフトの振舞は「間違ってはいない」のです ―― むしろ「よく頑張っている」とも言えます。

So, the behavior of this software is "not wrong"; instead, it can be said that it "works well."

もっとも、ここまで何もかも潰せば、そりゃ安全でしょう。

However, if the software crushes everything, it would be safe.

■外部からの攻撃だけでなくて、内部のプロセス(process)に入り込んでいるかもしれないスパイウェアも監視し続けている ――

- It continues to monitor external attacks and spyware that may have entered the internal process.

これは、密告が奨励されたかつての社会主義国家や現在の独裁国の様ですし

This is like a former socialist state and a present dictatorship, where a petition was encouraged.

■しかも、その国の立法府(システムアドミニストレータ)認めているその世界の法(Windows10の設定)すら無視して、監視し続け、必要なら排除する ――

- In addition, it ignores the laws of the world (settings of Windows 10) recognized by that country's legislative body (system administrator), continuing monitoring and eliminating if necessary.

これは、その国で非合法に暗躍する秘密警察のようです。

This is like a secret police lurking in the country illegally.

How to form a black company

今回のコラムで、私は「外国人労働力の搾取戦略」という言葉で、日本国政府を悪しげに非難しているかのように見えます。

In this column, you might see that I criticized the Japanese government with the word "foreign workers' exploitation strategy."

しかし、私は、我が国だけが特別とは思っていません。

However, I do not think that only Japan is unique.

外国人の受け入れは、「労働力」との取引が原則であり、それだけなら別段問題はないのです。

Accepting foreigners is the principle of trading with the "labor force," and there is no other problem if only it.

面倒くさいのは、外国人労働者にくっついてくるものの方です。

What makes it troublesome is those who stick to foreign workers.

私は、それは、「国家主義」とか「民族主義」とか言うものだと思っていたのですが ――

I thought that it was "nationalism" or "nationalism," - but

後輩が言うには、それは「飯」と「お祈り」だそうです(「言葉」は当然)。

As the juniors said, it seems to be "food" and "prayer" ("words" are natural).

食べられるもの/食べられないものがある、ということは、どちらの側にも、心理的(「思いやり」から「憎悪」に至るまで)なプレッシャーがかかるそうです。

There is a thing that can be eaten / a thing that can not be eaten. That will give us pressure psychologically (from "compassion" to "hate").

お祈りについては、我が国は、基本的に「誰が何を信じようが、どーでも良い」という、オープンマインドがあり・・・ではなく、

Regarding prayer, Japan has an open mind that "Whoever believes whatever" ... correction,

「国民が"神様"をリメイクし続ける」ことを日常的に行っている国です。

It is a country that "people continue to remake "God" daily.

神様をWindows Updateのようにバージョンアップする国に、2000年以上も前の口語記述をドキュメント化したアナログ文章の内容を教条としている国の人が、果たして付いてこれるか ―― これは興味深い試みです。

In countries where God is upgraded, like Windows Update, can a person from a country with the contents of analog texts documenting colloquial descriptions more than 2000 years ago keep up with us? This is an interesting attempt.

なお、これまで大きな問題とならなかった理由は、外国人労働者の殆どが、「宗教というものを絶対視していないエリート層」であったから、と、私は思っております。

I think the reason why it did not become a big problem until now is most of the foreign workers were "elite layers that do not regard religion."

江端:「印パ問題というのは、つまるところ、豚と牛と酒と絶食のことか？」

Ebata: "According to the India-Pakistan problem, in the end, it is the question of pigs and cows, liquor and Ramadan?"

後輩:「その理解で正しいです」

Junior: "Correct"

江端:「"お祈り"というのは？」

Ebata: "What is" prayer "?"

後輩:「就業中に、1畳程度の空間で、数分程度。一定の方向を向いて、1日数回繰り返す、という、新しいアクティビティを導入できるか、ということですね」

Junior: "It means that you can introduce a new activity of turning in a certain direction, repeating it several times a day, in a space of about one tatami maturing during work hours."

江端:「それって、喫煙者が喫煙ルームを使う日常と、大して変らん気もするがなぁ」

Ebata: "I think that is the same as "smokers use smoking rooms."

後輩:「まあ、"お祈り"にも、"ライト"なものから"厳格"なものまで、色々あります。仮に"厳格"であったとしても、日本にいる間は、"中止"を受けいれる人もいるかもしれません」

Junior: "Well," as a prayer, it ranges from "light" to "strict." Even if a person is "strict," they may accept "cancellation" while in Japan."

江端:「まあ、我が国の『目立ったら負け』の"同調圧力"が、その辺の問題を上手く抑制するかもしれないけどね」

Ebata: "Well, our nation's "synchronization pressure" will stand out. It may well control the problems."

『日本に行けば、宗教的なアパシーにさせられる』、という評判が、海外で立ち上がることで、海外では、この制度が"忌避"されるかもしれません、が ――

With this rumor of "if you go to Japan, you come to be "religious apathy," this system may be "challenged" abroad, however,

もしかしたら、逆に"歓迎"されるかもしれません。

Perhaps it may be "welcomed" on the contrary.

「原理主義者による日本初の国内テロの心配がない」とは言いませんが、

Though I do not say that there is no worry about Japan's first domestic terrorism by fundamentalists,

カルト宗教にはまった息子や娘を、日本という「洗脳除去装置、ブレインクリーナ」に送り込んでくる親が、一定数いそうな気がします。

I also think that some parents will send their sons and daughters who are accustomed to cult religion to Japan to unravel their brainwashing.
