I am astonished at his understandable explanations at all times.
昨日も書きましたが、分かりやすい本は、それだけで価値があるのです。
I wrote the same thing in yesterday's diary. I think a book that is easy to read is valuable for that reason.

ただ、「分かりやすい本」というのは、多分に主観が入るので難しいです。
However, it isn't easy to judge whether the book is easy to understand because it depends on each person's thoughts.
例えば、今、次女が凄い勢いで読んでいる「物語シリーズ」を、「難しい」から読まないといっている社会人の研究員もいます。

サラリーマンの語源は、この「ソルト」に由来するそうです。

私、以前、性同一障害の人数を推定する手段として「性別変更申請数」のみを使って逆計算を行っていました。

現在、同性間の結婚については、条件付き(性同一性障害を理由とした性転換の術後)ではありますが、手術後の戸籍の性別変更を通じて、可能となっています。

しかし、我が国の法律(民法)は、セックスであれ、ジェンダーであれ、異性間の結婚しか認めていないという点では、一貫しています。

Some people try to argue "reproductive capacity" against same-sex marriage, but I think that the time of argument is stupidly wasteful.
生殖能力の有無が婚姻の条件になるなら、生殖の結果(子ども)を残さない結婚は、すべて、婚姻届けの届出日に遡って「無効」としなければ、法的な一貫性が保てません。
If we decide that "reproductive capacity" is a condition for the wedding, we have to enforce to repudiate the marriage because of "no child" for consistency of law.
結婚の形態がどうあれ、結婚の意義を「生殖能力の有無」に求めるなど、ナンセンスな上に下品です。
In any marriage style, using the words "reproductive capacity" for the significance of marriage is nonsense and vulgar.
そもそも、私は「私達は、国家や法律の為に生きている」訳ではなく、「国家や法律は、私達の幸せを実現する為に存在している」と思っていますし、そうでないなら、私は「国家や法律には、存在する価値はない」と考えています。
Above all, "our life is not for nation and law." I believe "nation and law exist for our happy life," and if not, "nation and law are meaningless."
「一緒に生きることで幸せになりたいというカップルは、その存在自体が、結婚の要件を満たしている」

とはいえ、どんな変化であれ、私たちは変化は嫌いです ―― その一点においては同意してもいいです。
I can understand "we don't like any change". I can agree with the opinion.
しかし、私は「自分に不利益がない変化」で「自分で努力する必要がない変化」であれば、基本的には「その変化を妨害をしない」ことにしています。
However, if the change is "without my disadvantage" and "without my special effort," I do not "disturb the change."
つまるところ、『人のことなんぞ、ほっとけ』ということです。

暴力といえば、「数字」も「データ」も結構な暴力でしょう。

スマホを地面に置いていたので、多分、方角(メッカ)を確認されていたのだと思います。

私は、なるべく物音を立てずに、ゆっくりと、その横を通らせていただいたのですが、さすがに、こんな薄暗くて狭い場所で、お祈りをされていることを、気の毒に思いました。
